Small antenna with giant performance
H2 RF-Engineering Antenna Systems presents its remote controlled dipole antenna for reception and transmission of communication in the hf-spectrum without the use of baluns or toroids. Balancing, frequency adjustment and cable matching is achieved by link-coupling only. There is no need for a balun device at any section of the tuner.
The remote controlled, fully-balanced tuner is suitable for the frequency range of 13-30 Mhz continuously. Transmission capacity is 1.5 kW.
Tuning within the band range is accomplished by RX noise and TX SWR. Frequencies may be “preset”according to a list prepared beforehand.
The system gives a high q pre-selection suitable for receivers and transceivers.
Dimensions of the matching dipole are 2 x 6,5m max. (13m)
The 13m Antenna creates the maximum possible gain of a dipol on frequencies above 14 Mhz without major sidelobes.
Radio amateurs are thus supplied with a single dipole with better than monoband performance covering the 20-17-15-12-10 metre bands.
Even with limited aerial space the five higher bands are covered. The system is highly portable and suitable for expedition or other mobile use. Control Voltage is 12V DC. No additional power supplies are necessary.
If you want to replace the driven element of your Yagi antenna by a selective power-proof dipole, or tackle a DIY project, this system will suit your needs. Instead of the dipole, you may also feed a delta loop in the frequency range mentioned above.
Shortwave broadcast listeners may use the 22-19-16-13-11 metre bands for their purposes.
Commercial users have access to the spectrum 13-30 Mhz continuously.
Tuner and control unit may be used with the supplied (2x6,5m max.) tubing dipole. Feeding of a wire dipole (e.g. in the attic) or a delta loop is also possible.
Standard mounting of the tuner is at the feeding point of the dipole, although a parallel feeder may be used.
